What Does The SVQ Process Involve?

Each SVQ is based on a set of National Standards broken down into a number of units for each award. To gain an SVQ, the candidate has to provide evidence that they are competent to carry out their job effectively.

Evidence is analysed and measured against a set of National Standards of Competence for the SVQ by our assessor who visits the candidate at their workplace. Wherever possible, candidates will gain a qualification whilst carrying out their normal duties.
